Back Story

Forever the street rat, Tuti grew up an orphan on the streets of Waterdeep, eventually taken in by the Grailenesh, a monastery dedicated to the poor and helpless. He has a natural talent as a pick pocket, with a keen eye for shiny objects. He loves a strong drink and has a calm and cool way of handling copious amounts of alcohol. He prefers the stale air of the city, but he feels at home in the forest like any wood elf.

Within Grailenesh, Tuti was given work and tutelage. On the streets, he is often stealing from those he feels can afford it, while taking care of those who need it. He is quiet and meek and generally carefree, sometimes following the plans precisely, or forgetting the plan entirely and doing things his own way if it suits his pleasure. He's very acrobatic and has an unusual fighting style. He wears simple clothes and carries a wakizashi that he found on a dead soldier.

Tuti's journey to Baldur's Gate began the moment he stole from a traveling noble. The noble accused a slave who was in the city buying goods for his master. The slave was beaten to death in front of a crowd yelling for his blood. Finding himself in the usual flea-ridden pubs, feeling overwhelmingly guilty for the slave's death, Tuti stumbled upon a slave named Johnny Brownwood. Johnny was on a mission to gather support for a rebellion from his master. Tuti, looking for resolve from his past, offered himself up for the cause, as it was a noble and good cause.

Spies had informed the masters of the rebellion, and as the slaves began to turn on the master, the master had help from the military, crushing the mob, killing most, recapturing the rest. Only Tuti and Brownwood escaped Waterdeep alive, eventually finding themselves in Baldur's Gate. On their journey, the two of them formed a bond. While Tuti acts caretaker to Brownwood, at times that can be enabling Brownwood's severe addiction to drink and drugs. Where Brownwood's depression feeds into his alcoholism, Tuti is just a lover of ale with an almost unnatural fortitude towards it.

Tuti enjoys tinkering, brewing, pick pocketing, and playing dice games, though he often cheats with sleight of hand when his opponents seem like they can afford to lose.

Appearance Blonde hair, brown eyes, tan like he's in the sun all day. Thin, with sinewy muscle tone. Calm, sometimes confused look and demeanor.
